John McEuen is a folk musician and founding member of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

He appeared in Kids' Favorite Country Songs to sing "Oh! Susanna" with some kids on location at a farm.

He has performed with Lee Ann Womack, Alison Krauss, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Bob Dylan, Kenny Rogers, Glen Campbell, Waylon Jennings, the Marshall Tucker Band, Dizzy Gillespie, the Osmond Brothers, The Doobie Brothers, The Doors, Aerosmith, and Steve Martin, who he grew up with.^[1]
