John Alexander

John Alexander is an actor, puppeteer, and gorilla performer. Alexander puppeteered on the Creature Shop film The Flintstones, and later supplied gorilla choreography for George of the Jungle.

Alexander's gorilla credits include multiple roles in Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes and solo gorillas in Fierce Creatures (with John Cleese), Baby's Day Out, Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Mighty Joe Young, and an episode of Jeeves and Wooster. Film puppetry credits include work on Return to Oz and Little Shop of Horrors.
