During the UK Spot in episode 316 of The Muppet Show, a jogger sings about the joys of "Jogging" despite getting tired. Passers-by in this song include Slim Wilson, Brewster, Mildred Huxtetter, and Wayne.

Wayne and his dog, who appear as background characters here, went on to feature in the following episode's UK Spot, "Dog Walk", which is filmed against the same revolving backdrop and includes the jogger as a background character.

The song had previously been recorded by Brian Murphy, of George and Mildred fame.
