Joel Edward McHale (b. 1971) is a stand-up comedian and actor best known for his work on The Soup and Community as Jeff Winger.

McHale appeared on Sesame Street to explain the word "prickly" in a Season 42 Word of the Day segment. (Huffington Post noted that his character, Winger, was prickly.)

McHale's film credits include Spiderman 2, Open Season 2 and Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World. Television credits include appearances on CSI: Miami, Pushing Daisies and Robot Chicken.
