Jody St. Michael is a mime who has occasionally worked as a suit performer. He performed on the Jim Henson's Creature Shop projects Dinosaurs (as the Clerk in "The Son Also Rises"), George of the Jungle (as a gorilla), and The Country Bears (as Tennessee O'Neil).
St. Michael has been seen as a gorilla performer in the film Gorillas in the Mist, the TV movie The Last Chance Detectives: Legend of the Desert Bigfoot, and an episode of X-Files. Other film credits include Hellraiser: Bloodline (as a dog beast) and Monkeybone (as a centaur), while additional TV work includes a guest spot on ChiPs (outside of a costume for a change) and in the Sci-Fi series The Chronicle (as yet another creature).
