Jim Henson's Muppet Babies' Christmas Book is a 41 page storybook that features the retelling of The Twelve Days of Christmas and The Night Before Christmas staring Baby Kermit and Baby Piggy from Muppet Babies.
The text of the two stories are taken directly from the classic Christmas song and poem with illustrations by Tom Brannon.
The 12 Days of Christmas
Kermit presents Piggy with Christmas presents, including three Muppet Chickens in berets touting French flags, Gonzo juggling 5 golden rings and a dozen Whatnot drummers. Piggy - overwhelmed by anarchy of the 50 Whatnots, 23 birds and Gonzo taking over the house - finally passes out under the lone pear tree. Several of the spreads were turned into puzzles by Western Publishings.
The Night Before Christmas
After Piggy (in her kerchief) goes to bed, Kermit spies Santa Claus doing his job on Christmas Eve.
