Jim Blashfield

Jim Blashfield (b. 1944) is a filmmaker noted for creating highly-acclaimed music videos for, among others, Talking Heads ("And She Was"), Michael Jackson ("Leave Me Alone") and Paul Simon ("The Boy in the Bubble"). His videos feature a unique collage animation style.
Beginning in the late 1980s, Blashfield applied his talents to Sesame Street, directing the Muppet music videos "Monster in the Mirror" and "The Word is "No"," as well as animated inserts.
