The Country Trio
The Jerry Nelson Muppet was based on his performer, Jerry Nelson. He played guitar in The Country Trio, joined by the Jim Henson Muppet and the Frank Oz Muppet.
In The Muppet Show Episode 322, he's referred to as "Tex".
