Jeane Dixon (1904-1997) was an American astrologer and psychic best remembered for her popular syndicated newspaper astrology column. As a child in California, she claims a Gypsy gave her a crystal ball and predicted she would grow up to be a famous "seer." She rose to fame with a prediction that the President of the United States would be assassinated or die in office, becoming a reality with the death of John F. Kennedy.
