Jean-Claude Sachot (1943-2017) was a French voice actor who dubbed Bruno on Les Crocs Malins (Dog City).
After Sachot dubbed Pat Hingle as Commissioner Gordon in Batman Returns, he became the official French voice of the character in various Batman animated and video game projects including Batman: The Animated Series. He also frequently dubbed Mr. Freeze and, at various times, other villains including Clayface, Bane, and Killer Croc. Other animation credits include Justice League (Shade), Spirited Away (Kamaji), the 1988 Superman series (Jonathan Kent), and Animaniacs.
In live-action dubbing, Sachot lent his voice to John-Rhys Davies (including Sliders and as Leonardo da Vinci on Star Trek: Voyager), Itzhak Perlman in Fantasia 2000, Peter Hambleton in The Hobbit movies, Brian Cox in X-Men 2, Joe Seneca in The Blob, and Jon Polito in The Crow.
