Jay Itzkowitz is a magazine writer who scripted several comics, as well as the occasional feature article, for Muppet Magazine. Most notably, he wrote the "Little Swamp of Horrors" Halloween story in the Fall 1986 issue.

Itzkowitz's other known credits include comic stories for Robo Force Magazine.
