Jared the Tiger appeared in episode 116 of The Animal Show. Stinky wanted Jared to show him how to be ferocious, but before that Jared wanted to show Stinky how tough a tiger are. Jared also mentions that tigers are a endangered species, Stinky quickly declares that he are on the tigers side he don't want to see tigers vanish.

The same puppet was reused as Sasha the Siberian Tiger in episode 301.

It was recycled and reworked as Mr. Tiger in Elmo's World: Cats, where its realistic eyes were replaced with cartoon eyes.
