James Silson is a puppeteer who originated the roles of Howard Snake, Jiffy, and George Rabbit in Goodspeed Opera House's production of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas.

Silson has served as puppet master with Walt Disney Entertainment, where he acts as choreographer and internal consultant for live puppetry shows. Among the projects he has worked on for Disney are Walt Disney World's musical Finding Nemo (with music from Avenue Q composer Robert Lopez).
