James Murray is a freelance puppeteer and voice actor who has occasionally worked on Henson/Muppet productions. He performed on Dinosaurs, playing hand-puppet refrigerator creatures in "When Food Goes Bad" and members of the WESAYSO hearing board in "What "Sexual Harris" Meant." He also served as an additional puppeteer on Muppets Tonight, Muppet Classic Theater, Muppet*Vision 3D, and The Muppets.
Murray assisted Tyler Bunch as Bongo, in the pilot episodes for the Henson Alternative production Late Night Buffet. Outside of the Muppets, Murray and fellow puppeteer Kevin Carlson, produced, wrote, performed, and built puppets for the direct to video series The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth, and he was a series regular on Greg the Bunny. Murray also replaced Kevin Clash as Splinter in the non-Henson Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles in Time.
Murray currently co-writes and co-produces the online Duckwalksintoabar series with producing and writing partner, Kevin Susman. He is also the creator of the online series Puppet Guru at puppetji.com.
