James Paul Marsden (b. 1973) is an American actor, singer and former Versace model. He is best known for playing Cyclops in the first three X-Men films, Fred O'Hare in Hop, Richard White in Superman Returns, Corny Collins in Hairspray, Prince Edward in Enchanted, Arthur Lewis in The Box and Malcolm/Kevin Doyle in 27 Dresses.
Marsden will appear on Sesame Street to explain the word "engineer" in a Season 42 Word of the Day segment.
His television credits include The Nanny (as Eddie), Boogies Diner (as Jason), Saved by the Bell, Party of Five, Second Noah (as Ricky) and Ally McBeal (as Glenn Foy). His other film credits include Distributing Behavior (as Steve Clark) and Gossip (as Derrick Webb).
