A Muppet caricature of The Muppets director James Bobin appeared in the bonus features of The Muppets home video.

The character has brief cameos in the film itself. He can be spotted during "The Muppet Show Theme" (in the top arch, to the right of Wayne), as well as in one of the film's group scenes.

He also appears in promotional material.
