Ernie finds a blue circle and asks Bert (Frank Oz) what it is. Bert enthusiastically sings that "It's a Circle", a perfect circle just as it is. A frustrated Ernie then sings that it's not just a circle -- it's the shape of the sun, or a pie, or a bowl of ice cream. Bert feels that the circle is fine just as it is, and begins to sing again; Ernie joins in with his part of the song. After they finish the duet Ernie admits that Bert may be right after all, but Bert thinks Ernie is right too.
