It's the Muppet Show! was released as part of the "Fisher-Price Talk-to-Me book" series. Each page features small vinyl circles which, when played with a "Fisher-Price Talk to Me Book player," plays audio, allowing readers to hear as well as read the story.
The book tells the story of a typical Muppet Show episode, including a comedy act from Fozzie, "Pigs in Space", and "Veterinarian's Hospital".
