Irving Cohn
From Muppet Wiki
Irving Cohn (1898 - 1961) was a British-American songwriter, best known for writing the song "Yes, We Have No Bananas". The Muppets have performed the song several times. Kermit the Frog and Chicken Liver sang it on Sam and Friends and The Today Show. The song was performed twice on The Muppet Show -- first by the Swedish Chef in episode 412, and then by Marvin Suggs and the All-Food Glee Club in episode 510.
Comedian Martin Short potrayed an exagerrated caricature based on Cohn on the television series SCTV. Known for breaking into song by shouting "Give me a C, a bouncy C", Short's version of Cohn was also seen on The Martin Short Show, Primetime Glick and the film Jiminy Glick in La La Wood.
Short played Cohn in episode 110 of Muppets Tonight, sitting in the nursing home with Statler and Waldorf.
