When characters in Muppet/Henson productions dress up as flowers, trees, fruit, vegetables, and all other forms of flora. This was a particularly common occurrence in various Sesame Street Pageants.

	Earl Sinclair as a tree	Dinosaurs episode 319	In a story read by Grandma Ethyl to Baby Sinclair, Earl is imagined as a dinosaur who exchanges souls with a tree.
	Elmo as an asparagus	Sesame Street pageant	Elmo plays a bumpy asparagus in a pageant about the food items which make up a meal. He also likes saying the word "asparagus."
	Elmo as a radish		Elmo plays the red veggie in a pageant during a street storyline focusing on gardening.
	Elmo as a "furry red monster plant,"	Episode 3905	Elmo decides he wants to be a plant like Stinky, so he places himself inside a pot with his name on it.
	Elmo as a piece of broccoli	Sesame Street Episode 4122 & The Get Healthy Now Show	Elmo plays the broccoli in Prairie Dawn's Healthy Food Pageant. He reprises the role when the Big Tomato fails to show up in The Get Healthy Now Show.
	Fozzie Bear as a banana	Studio DC Hosted by Selena Gomez	Fozzie, Jason Earles, and Jason Dolley prepare for the ultimately canceled sketch, "Banana Montana."
	Gladys the Cow as a flower	Sesame Street pageant	In a second flower pageant, Gladys grows from a seed to a beautiful flower.
	Grover as broccoli	Once Upon a Monster	Grover plays a stalk of broccoli in Seamus' play in the level "Seamus the Brave."
	Guy Smiley as a tree	Sesame Street Here is Your Life	Guy Smiley disguises himself as a tree to surprise Oak Tree and salute its life.
	Herry Monster as grass	Sesame Street "Milk" pageant	In a pageant about where milk comes from, Herry plays the grass that Gladys the Cow eats to gain energy.
	Kermit and Fozzie as bananas	Little Muppet Monsters "Kermit the Frog, Private Eye."	Kermit and Fozzie disguise themselves as bananas to attract a gorilla. Though the full episode went unaired, footage later appeared in the final episode of Muppet Babies.
	Link Hogthrob as a tree	Muppet King Arthur issue #4	Morgana le Fey turned Link into a tree for inadvertently flirting with her.
	Leo the Party Monster as a potato	Sesame Street pageant	Leo plays a potato, and notes that potato chips tend to signify a party.
	Natasha as a pumpkin	Sesame Street	After Humphrey imagines the possible jobs Natasha will have when she grows older, he says it doesn't matter because she will be his pumpkin, in which she does become a pumpkin.
	Pip and Pop as bushes	Bear in the Big Blue House episode "Halloween Bear"	Pip and Pop dress up as bushes for Halloween. Pop has a ball stuck in his branches, representing the many times the otters' ball has lodged itself in the local shrubbery.
	Mr. Snuffleupagus as a cabbage		Snuffy portrays his favorite vegetable in a pageant during a street storyline focusing on gardening.
	Telly as an asparagus	Sesame Street Episode 4122 & The Get Healthy Now Show	Telly plays the asparagus in Prairie Dawn's Healthy Food Pageant. He reprises the role when the Big Tomato fails to show up in The Get Healthy Now Show, with a rather unsuccessful stand-up act.
	Tutter as a pumpkin	Bear in the Big Blue House episode "Halloween Bear"	Tutter decides to express his love for pumpkins by dressing as one for Halloween.
	The Two-Headed Monster as a banana	Sesame Street Journey to Ernie	In a painting in a B museum, the Two Headed Monster appear as a two-headed banana that gives Big Bird very unhelpful advice.
	Waffle as a flower.	Animal Jam "Everything's Springin' Up!"	Waffle dressed up as Bloomy, the blooming flower, to help Edi's plant grow.
	Wanda Cousteau as a piece of broccoli	Sesame Street Episode 3161	Big Bird helps Wanda disguise herself as a piece of broccoli to evade Wolfgang (but attracting the attention of Chicago instead).
	Zoe as a potato	Sesame Street Episode 4122 & The Get Healthy Now Show	Zoe plays the potato in Prairie Dawn's Healthy Food Pageant.
