"If It Weren't for You, X" is a Sesame Street song performed in episode 3659.

The letter X wishes to quit the alphabet. A tuxedo-clad Gordon, joined by a trio of penguins, sings the song to convince him to stay, listing a number of the words he appears in. The song has the adverse affect, however, making the X realize he's too good for the alphabet and goes solo.
