Idina Menzel is a Broadway actress best known for her roles in Jonathan Larson's Rent and Wicked, the re-telling of The Wizard of Oz from the prospective of The Wicked Witch of the West and co-starring Kristin Chenoweth in the original Broadway production.

On television, Menzel has appeared on Glee, Disney's feature film Enchanted, and will voice the Snow Queen in the upcoming animated film Frozen.

Along with her husband Taye Diggs, Idina presented the word "allergic" as part of Sesame Street's The Word of the Day for season 41. (EKA: Episode 4223)
