Idina Menzel is a performer of stage and screen whose first breakout role was in Jonathan Larson's Rent in 1996. Her other well-known roles include Elphaba in Wicked (with Kristin Chenoweth), a recurring character on Glee, Disney's feature film Enchanted (with Amy Adams), and the voice of Elsa in Disney's Frozen (with Kristen Bell).
Menzel with her then husband, Taye Diggs, presented the word "allergic" as the Word of the Day in a season 41 episode of Sesame Street.
