I Am a Monster is a 1976 Sesame Street storybook featuring Herry Monster.

Herry discusses himself and monsters in general, and provides a contrast between himself and various Sesame Street residents (while inadvertently causing property damage or accidents). He makes up for it by getting a kitten down from a tree. He eats dinner with his monster family and then goes to bed, dreaming of a peaceful beach vacation.
