"I Wish I Could Be Santa Claus" is an original song featured in the television special A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa. The song is sung by Gonzo and Fozzie Bear.

The song was nominated at the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Music and Lyrics", alongside songs from A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!, The 2008 ESPYs, Flight of the Conchords, and Saturday Night Live. The winner was "Hugh Jackman Opening Number" from the 81st Annual Academy Awards.
