I Love New York (or I โฅ NY) is the name of an advertising campaign to promote tourism in New York state and New York City since the 1970s. The logo has appeared most prominently on bumper stickers and t-shirts, while the song of the same name has featured in many commercials and the eighth Friday the 13th movie.
In the mid-1980s, Kermit the Frog appeared in a commercial with Kitty Carlisle to promote the arts.
