I Hope That Something Better Comes Along was sung by Kermit the Frog and Rowlf the Dog, in a rare pairing of the two characters. The team-up is uncommon because Jim Henson performed both characters, and in this song he performed both voices singing, and at some points they sing together. Of course, since the audio for all songs are recorded before they are filmed, then it didn't matter that they are both performed by the same person.
