"Hot, Hot, Hot" was a hit song for singer/songwriter Alphonsus Cassell (using the stage name Arrow) as the title track of his 1982 album. It achieved success as a single in the United Kingdom and later in the United States of America when covered by Buster Poindexter. It praises the joys of Latin-influenced dance music, rumbas, and parties.
It was featured on the 1997 Sesame Street album Hot! Hot! Hot! Dance Songs, with Elmo as lead singer and lyrics altered slightly to specify different character names. Others joining in (singing or commentary) include Oscar the Grouch, Zoe, Benny Rabbit, Big Bird, Count von Count, Hoots the Owl, Prairie Dawn, and Rosita.
