Holiday Greetings from the Ed Sullivan Show was a CBS-TV Christmas special that aired in 1992, hosted by comedian Bob Newhart. The Muppets performed "It Feels Like Christmas" from The Muppet Christmas Carol on the special. Kermit and Miss Piggy also did a sketch with Newhart, where Piggy demonstrated different styles of karate chops.
Clips from The Ed Sullivan Show (1948-71) were shown throughout the special, including one with Jim Henson.
The other guests on the special were Johnny Mathis, Della Reese, Paul Anka, Dick Martin, Roy Rogers & Dale Evans, and the gospel choir Life.
The special has been released on DVD by SOFA Entertainment.
