PhotoPop is a Wikia Challenge trivia game available for Android mobile users. it features content from Wikia's Entertainment Wikis.

How to Play

• You can download PhotoPop for free at the Android Market (just search for "PhotoPop"). You can also play the web version at wikia.com/PhotoPop.

• To begin a game, simply tap the icon of the game you'd like to play (for example: Muppet Wiki).

• Uncover the secret image piece by piece by clicking the screen. Each click will unveil another segment of the image.

• when you think you know who the picture is showing, click the green arrow at the right of the screen to open the options.

• Choose the correct character option before the time runs out to win the round!

About the Game

How does it work?

PhotoPop is essentially made for the fans, by the fans. It uses MediaWiki API to randomly pull images and titles from pages of a specified category on a wiki. For every image that is selected and covered by a mask of tiles, the title of the page from which the image was pulled serves as the correct answer; titles of other randomly selected categorized pages serve as the three other incorrect answer options for the image.

Why does it only feature a few wikis?

PhotoPop is an exciting, but very new product. To ensure optimal performance, only a few wikis are supported at this time.
