Heather Asch

Heather Asch has worked as a puppet builder on such projects as The Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, Animal Jam, and Sesame Street. She continues to puppeteer on the latter series, assisting for many characters such as Baby Bear, and playing Hansel (of Hansel and Gretel). Heather also puppeteers outside of the series, and has created her own puppetry pieces such as Bosom Buddies, which deals with the subject of breast cancer. The performance was seen at Passion For Puppetry, a tribute benefit to Nikki Tilroe in January 2006. She was a puppet wrangler for Animal Jam, but still wrangles for shows such as Sesame Street. In addition, she also works at Jim Kroupa's puppet workshop, 3/Design.
