Harrison Fox is the mayor of Waterville and runs the talent contest in Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. Gretchen Fox is his wife.
The fox puppet was reused in several episodes of The Muppet Show.
For Goodspeed Opera House's musical adaptation, the role of Harrison was originated by Kevin Covert.
