Hank and Frank were characters from Sam and Friends. They were abstract humanoid puppets with no hair and only eyes, a nose and a mouth. They took the roles of legendary news anchors Chet Huntley and David Brinkley in a spoof interview conducted by Kermit.

Hank was created on July 1954.^[1]
