"Handful of Crumbs" is an original song performed by Cookie Monster on Sesame Street.

In this sad country ballad, Cookie Monster mourns over the loss of his cookie, which crumbled in his hand, leaving behind nothing but a handful of crumbs.

The song was taped as an insert for Sesame Street in the early 1980s, which featured an early Elmo (performed here by Jerry Nelson) as a country band member who introduces Cookie Monster.[1]
