Guy Lombardo' (b. Gaetano Alberto "Guy" Lombardo, 1902-1977) was a Canadian bandleader. Lombardo, along with his brothers, formed the band The Royal Canadians, and their cover of "Auld Lang Syne" has become tradition on New Year's Eve. The version still plays as the first song of the new year in New York City's Times Square.
