Guess Who's Coming to Dinner is a 1967 film starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, and Sidney Poitier. The film, Tracy's last, was groundbreaking in its subject of interracial marriage, which was still illegal in some states shortly before the film's release.

On Sesame Street, the film was parodied with a Dinner Theatre sketch titled "Guess What We're Having for Dinner", where a girl, on pot roast night, encourages her family to try new food, including rutabaga.
