Grover's New Kitten is a 1981 Sesame Street photo board book featuring Grover and his kitten.

Grover's Mommy takes him to an animal shelter to adopt a kitten. He chooses one, names her Ginger and takes her home. Photos follow of Grover feeding Ginger, playing with her and getting her ready for bed. When Ginger doesn't want to stay in her own kitty bed, Grover lets her sleep in his.

The photos by John Barrett were taken at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Some of them were later reprinted in The Sesame Street Treasury Volume 8.
