Grandpa Mudcat

Grandpa Mudcat is the grandfather of Traction Jackson in animated segments on Sesame Street. Introduced in Episode 4130, Grandpa is an accomplished musician who can play the bongo drums and the harmonica, among other instruments.

Grandpa plays a game of "Follow Me" with Margarita and TJ in his first appearance. Returning in Episode 4158, Grandpa Mudcat helps TJ cope with feelings of jealousy when Bernie spends time with Margarita, instead of him.
