There were several Sesame Street titles released as part of the Golden Sound Story Book line, including The Sesame Street Pet Parade, How to Get to Sesame Street, Bird Watching with Bert, Baby-Sitting with Big Bird, Rain Forest Adventure and Bright and Early with Elmo. There were also some Muppet titles released as part of the Golden Sound Story Book line, including Muppet Treasure Island and Foo-Foo, Where Are You?.

Each book was 24 pages long, and included a pressable bar at the side of the book, with pictures corresponding to symbols in the book. As the back of the books instructed, "Follow the story", "Press the matching Soundpicture", "Hear the sounds".
