Gloria Esteworm, a parody of Gloria Estefan and her band the Miami Sound Machine, appeared in a 1997 episode of Sesame Street at the Worm World Music Festival. She performed the song "Mambo I, I, I" with her band, the Miami Slime Machine.

"Mambo I, I, I" was included on the 1997 CD Hot! Hot! Hot! Dance Songs, with Gloria listed in the credits.
