Gladys is a pigeon who appears in Muppets from Space. Gladys is the faithful friend of the Birdman, affectionately landing on him in front of his fellow lab rats. Their relationship spoofs the film The Birdman of Alcatraz, in which the title character's feathered friends were not so disproportionate in size.
