"Give Your Heart a Little Time" is a Sesame Street song written for the 2010 When Families Grieve initiative. Although it does not appear in the special, it is included with the additional resources on Sesamestreet.org. [1]

The song is performed by Jesse, Elmo, Rosita, Louie, Mae and Aunt Jill while at a picnic. They sing about the loss of Elmo's Uncle Jack and coping during the hard times after the loss of a loved one. In the special, the song is sung by Mark Radice and Kathryn Rao over the credits.
