Gimley's Boss

Gimley's Boss is the unctuous supervisor of sales rep Gimley in the Muppet Meeting Film "How to Sell." Possessing a voice patterned after radio actor Frank Nelson, complete with elongated "Yeeeesss?", the boss puts Gimley through his paces, expecting him to demonstrate a variety of sales techniques. However, the boss doesn't realize the importance of knowing your customer.

The puppet was later reused, sans moustache, as Ted Thomas in Statler and Waldorf: From the Balcony.
