"Get Up Offa That Thing" is a James Brown song released as a single in 1976. It was one of Brown's biggest hits in the second half of the 1970s, reaching #4 on the R&B chart, and became a staple of his later live performances.

The song plays in the 1999 film Muppets From Space as Gonzo single-mindedly mows the lawn with a message for his alien relatives to see from space, and again later as he drives the lawnmower to the TV station.
