"Get Up, Get Out!" is a lively song that encourages kids to get up and get out of the house, instead of playing video games or watching TV.

Celebrities featured in the video include Rachael Ray, Anderson Cooper, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matt Lauer, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown and the New York Jets.

It was nominated for a 2008 Daytime Emmy Award (Outstanding Original Song in a Children's/Animated Series), which it lost to the theme of Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman. Also nominated was another Sesame Street song "See the Signs", and songs from Bindi The Jungle Girl and Jack's Big Music Show.
