Geoffrey Rush (b. 1951) is an Academy Award winning actor for his role of David Helfgott in Shine, but is currently best known for his role of Captain Hector Barbossa in the Pirates of the Caribbean films. He was interviewed by Kermit the Frog on the "black carpet" premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at Disneyland.
Rush spoke to Empire magazine about his favorite Muppet: "I adore Beaker. He just seems so off the planet; he lives in a constant state of frantic panic. He's so marginalised in his eccentricity, but you love him anyway."[1]
