Genius Products, owned by The Weinstein Company, is soon to be the sole North American distributor of Sesame Workshop home entertainment products, taking over from Sony Wonder. The catalog included Sesame Street, Sesame Beginnings, Elmo's World, and Pinky Dinky Doo.
The "long-term distribution and co-production agreement" was announced February 20, 2007. Genius Products' first release from Sesame Workshop is expected to be a Sesame Beginnings title in April.[1]
