Gaspar is one of the Muppets from Barrio Sésamo, the Spanish version of Sesame Street, having appeared from 1996 to 2000.
Gaspar was a Muppet representing a red-haired human. He always showed a smile on his face. Apparently, Gaspar owned a marked and offered an adult counterpart to child-like Bluki, without reaching the intellectual extremes of Bubo. When he laughes out loud, it sounded simulour like Ernie's laugh.
The name "Gaspar" is not usual in Spain, being mainly representative of one of the three Wise Men bringing presents to the Holy Child Jesus (in English he is called Casper).
Gaspar never reached the peak of popularity of other Spanish Muppets from previous periods of Barrio Sésamo.
