Gary Hecker, also credited as Gary A. Hecker, is a foley artist who has provided physical sound effects (using physical materials in the manner of Old-time radio soundmen) and creature vocals for nearly 200 films and TV shows, mostly for Columbia Pictures.

For Jim Henson's Creature Shop, he was one of several who voiced the titular gorilla in Buddy and was the sole voice of Blawp in Lost in Space. Hecker also provided foley for Muppets from Space and The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland.

Hecker's other credits as a foley artist include the Spider-Man films, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, The Incredible Hulk. As a vocal effects performer, Hecker voiced a gorilla in Hollow Man, the snake in Anaconda, Godzilla in the 1998 film, various horses in Seabiscuit, and the aliens in Independence Day.
