Garibaldo was a blue version of Big Bird on Vila Sésamo, Brazil's version of Sesame Street. Because the program was only broadcast in black and white, the only way to know that Garibaldo was colored blue was through the merchandise.

Second run: 2008

In the 2008 version of Vila Sesamo, he looks exactly like the American Big Bird.

The fact is that this version of Big Bird was originaly used as Da Niao. This wasChina\China's version of Big Bird. Because [[Zhima Jie]] had to cancel the show it was clear that Sesame Workshop wanted to reuse Da Niao for an other project. This off course became Brasil's new version of Vila Sesamo.
